At the center of the Jabalpur city, Rani Durgavati Museum was established in year 1976. It is just adjacent to Bhawartal garden and has walking distance from City Bus Stand.
It displays a collection of 10th- and 11th-century sculpture from local sites, while upstairs are galleries for stone and copper inscriptions, ancient coins and a photograph exhibition of Bhedaghat’s Chausath Yogini Temple. Rani Durgavati Museum houses some of the best collection of prehistoric relics, inscriptions and sculptures.
Museum remains open for general public from Tuesday to Sunday in every week. It remains closed on every Monday and on government holidays.
