Pisnahari ki Madhiya is a well known pilgrimage site of Digambar Jain Samaj. This Jain temple is located near the Subhash Chandra Bose Medical College, Jabalpur. It is a 500 years old tourist destination and it is one of the most visited places in Jabalpur.
According to a tale, this temple was founded and built by a poor woman, who heard the voice of a holy Jain monk to built a temple there. That lady got inspiration to make a huge temple. This temple was named after theMdhiya of Pisanahari. Pisanhari means – a woman who is grinding flour in the mill with her bare hands. This temple attracts hundreds of pilgrims every year
