“There are about 100 units in the industry, wherein nearly 1,500 people are employed. These units make traditional cotton and synthetic saris and dress materials. The industry earns a collective annual turnover of about Rs.1 crore. The industry majorly includes micro units, and is greatly dependent on them. Products from the industry are sold to traders from almost all states in India”

Man Made Fibers: These includes manufacturing of clothes using fiber or filament synthetic yarns. It is produced in the large power loom factories
The Cotton Sector: It is the second most developed sector in Textile industries. It provides employment to huge amount of people but its productions and employment is seasonal depending upon the seasonal nature of the production.
The Handloom Sector: It is well developed and is mainly dependent on the SHGs for their funds.
